MATTHEW GANDOLFO (Voice 2 et al.)
spends his time vacillating between the public
art of performing and the lonely craft of songwriting. As singer and actor, he has appeared in venues throughout NYC, and
is currently touring the United States with
THE
END OF CINEMATICS, for which he is also Vocal Director.
He scored the Off-Broadway musical, DRESSING ROOM, which led to a position as resident composer for Pax Amicus Castle
Theatre, where he has created and produced many musicals for young audiences. Having recently co-founded Veritas Musicals,
a company dedicated to the creation of fairy tale operas and children’s shows, Matthew is thrilled to be wrestling his
adult demons in MY BRAVE FACE.
SHELLEN LUBIN (Director) has written and directed for theatre and cabaret
for the last 25 years. She just
directed Tony Schatz
at the Metropolitan Room,
ON THE LINE at 78th Street Theatre Lab, and is currently developing SHAKESPEARE EN GARDE (with Cynthia Enfield) for NYC parks and libraries. She and
her songs have been heard on t.v., radio, and film, most notably Milos Forman’s first American film, TAKING OFF, and
SHELLEN LUBIN—SONGWRITER/SINGER, a one hour special on WBAI-FM. She is a private voice and acting teacher, mentor
and coach. www.shellenlubin.com.
IAN HERMAN (Piano) began studying
classical piano and at 13 was a guest soloist with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra. He has worked with singers Jane
Olivor, Donna McKechnie, Anita Morris, Judy Kaye, Tom Andersen, Karen Mason, Marilyn Sokol, Angela LaGreca, and Carole Demas
in nightclubs. 1999 Backstage Bistro Award for best Musical Director. Pianist and vocal coach for Broadway revival of GREASE. Other Broadway credits include JELLY’S LAST JAM, THE WHO’S
TOMMY, SONG AND DANCE, and SWING, for which he wrote vocal and dance arrangements. Recently Ian conducted the Broadway show
LAUGHING ROOM ONLY with Jackie Mason, and was the Musical Director for DORIAN GRAY at the New York Musical Theatre Festival and The
York Theatre.
WILLIAM GALISON (Guitar/ Harmonica) is a Singer/ Songwriter and a multi-instrumentalist. His unique sound on the harmonica has been heard across the entire spectrum of popular music, with
rock legends Sting and Carly Simon to jazz greats Eddie Gomez and Les Paul to Brazilian stars Astrud Gilberto and Tonhinho Horta,
in the national tour of
“Big River,” and in the soundtracks of many movies and t.v. commercials. His current album is “Got You On My Mind” with Madeleine Peyroux. www.williamgalison.com
